On the weekend of March 14, Team 2539 went to Springside Chestnut Hill FMA District Event. They finished the qualification matches ranking 14, and finishing the day with a win-loss rate of 10-10. The Krypton Cougars then proceeded to Alliance selection, where they were selected for an alliance, teaming up with Team 1218 (Vulcan Robotics) and Team 357 (Royal Assault). The alliance had some strong competition in the Quarterfinals Matches, winning the first match, then losing the second. They proceeded to a third match, in which the Krypton Cougars pushed through to victory. Team 2539 and the rest of their alliance blew right through the Semifinals, in just two easy matches. Team 2539 made it to the finals, winning the first match, but losing the next one sadly, against an alliance containing Team 225 (Techfire), Team 1495 (Red Devils), and Team 316 (Lunatecs). The third match then came up very disappointing. The Krypton Cougars put up an amazing fight, along with the rest of their alliance, but could not win. The score finished very close with the Krypton Cougar's Blue Alliance earning 116 points, and the Red Alliance earning 141 points. This was a good day for the Krypton Cougars, even though they did not leave with a blue banner.
